The Tradeverifyd team had a busy and engaging Climate Week NYC 2026.
On Thursday, September 24, Tradeverifyd CEO Mike Prorock hosted a roundtable discussion with Microsoft on supply chain traceability. We filled the room with leaders in sourcing, risk management, venture capital, and consulting. The core traceability conversation evolved to cover trends in data sharing, standards, and regulatory changes affecting supply chains. The group was surprised by how little upstream supply chain data exists, how big of a data project traceability is, and how Tradeverifyd’s agentic AI tackles the enormous data requirements to bridge the gap.

The next day, on Friday, September 25, the Tradeverifyd team led by Ruhan Wagener, Enterprise Solutions Director, co-hosted NYU Ethical Tech Lab’s TRACE THE UNSEEN: Climate Intelligence Build Day at the Microsoft Garage. Students and professionals worked with Tradeverifyd’s data and knowledge graph to build applications for supply chain traceability. The room was filled with passionate builders who built projects on ethical sourcing, risk tracing, and resilience.
The winning project, aptly titled “Follow the Public Dollar,” centered around one question: when public money goes out the door, where does it actually end up?
In one day, the team built a tool that traces funds through ownership, trade, and payment networks. Along the way, it flags shell intermediaries, nominee directors, shared-address hubs, and sanctioned entities. In total, they mapped several cases:
- Russian military procurement
- The Sudan/UAE gold trade
- Pandemic-era loan fraud
- Xinjiang-linked critical mineral supply chains
All build on Tradeverifyd’s trade-relationship data.

We’d like to thank everyone who made our 2026 Climate Week unforgettable. We hope to see you again next year!
